His artistic journey began with photography, a discipline that continues to influence the way he constructs each composition. Rather than documenting reality, photography taught him to observe light, proportion and framing—principles that remain fundamental to his painting. Every canvas is carefully composed, revealing an underlying sense of order beneath its expressive surface.

Working primarily with acrylic and mixed media on canvas, JReichler builds his paintings through successive layers of colour and texture. The process is both intuitive and deliberate. Paint is added, removed and reworked, allowing the surface to evolve over time until it reaches a state of visual equilibrium. This material approach gives each artwork a tactile quality that changes with light and invites close observation.

Although entirely abstract, his paintings often evoke familiar sensations. Some recall weathered architectural walls shaped by time; others suggest aerial landscapes, urban fragments or geological formations. These references are never literal. Instead, they emerge through texture, colour relationships and spatial rhythm, allowing each viewer to form a personal interpretation.

Colour is the driving force behind JReichler's artistic language. Rather than functioning as decoration, it becomes the structure of the composition itself. Over the past decade, JReichler has exhibited internationally in Portugal, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Hungary, Brazil and the United States, participating in exhibitions and leading contemporary art fairs including ARTe Wiesbaden, Estampa Madrid, the Florence Biennale, Agora Gallery in New York and Art3f. His works are held in private collections across Europe and North America.
